Senior Associate

Bára Straková is an senior associate and her practice focuses on sports law, litigation, M&A and commercial law.

Bára graduated from the Faculty of Law at Charles University and subsequently completed the Master in International Sports Law program at ISDE Law Business School in Madrid, which is ranked as the best in Europe in the field of sports law. She finished her studies with a six-month internship at CRESTA law firm in Brussels, where she had the opportunity to participate in the representation of players and clubs operating in the top European leagues.

In addition to the above, she has previously worked for the Czech Football Players Association, completed an internship at the Czech Olympic Committee, is a member of the communications committee of the international non-profit organization Women in Sports Law and is the author of a blog on sports law.

She has experience representing clients in sports arbitration before domestic and international arbitral tribunals such as the FAČR, BAT, FIBA and CEV.

In addition to Czech, she is fluent in English and Spanish.
